Ability to change Mouse Pointers

Semi-support, you could use CSS skills to change the mouse cursor in Scratch 3, however, this would cause confusion on tablets and phones.

If this would be added to the Scratch 2 editor/offline editor, support. There would be no problems that way.

I have about 3450 posts, 90 shared projects, 180 total created/followed topics, and 425 followers.

Full support, making an OS and a cursor that changes to help when hovering over a certain icon will be nice, along with a “link explorer” that changes the mouse type.

Have you even tried that? It does not work. It will overlap all sprites in game, but the system cursor is not layered like the scratch objects, and is always in front of all game objects.

I am leaving scratch. Sorry if this makes you sad, but I have done too many rude things, and I don't have any clue of what sort of projects I can make without burning out. I might come back for 3.0, but for now, goodbye Scratch.

Semi-support, I'd prefer hide/show mouse cursor and a

go to [mouse-pointer v]

block in a designed cursor.

Maybe you can make a sprite and there is a option to make it the mouse pointer,the only limitation i would put is only having 1 sprite being the pointer because 2 sprites being the pointer would be a bit glitchy

I was about to say this would make a user get inappropriate cursors, but if there's going to be a list in Scratch it'll be more appropriate - I got confused.

Yeah, this would be way better than mouse trails and could make story mode projects way better. I think I might use this script for a lot of different projects - but could you please create a mock-up of what type of cursors the ST could add? It could give them a better idea if they decide to implement this.

Maybe there should be a

reset cursor::looks

block which would change it to whatever the original cursor was?

I got a lot of compliments on my last signature, and I think that's kind of strange. I wrote it when I was 12 and it wasn't very good. I acted like PS4 controllers were the epitome of human technology, for God's sake! I tried too hard to be philosophical, or maybe I tried too hard to be funny, or maybe it was something else. But that signature was bad. It wasn't good. It might be strange for some of you to hear this, seeing as this site is full of kids, but 12-year-old me was practically a baby. I think that's something you realise when you grow up. That you're always better than you were last year. I was looking through old Skype messages between me and a friend of mine from when we were 12, and as I read them, I couldn't stop thinking, “Woah. I was the worst.” It's important to know that you're always the worst. I can almost guarantee that future you is thinking negatively of you right now, just as future me is thinking negatively of me. It's important not to let that get to you. Remember to stay in the present. Tomorrow hates you, but it can't hurt you because you'll never get to tomorrow. When I was 10 or 11, I remember seeing the world very cynically. I thought that human life was inherently selfish, and that we were only put on this planet to destroy it. I'm so glad 10 or 11 year old me is gone, because 17 year old me would NOT get along with that kid.
