Hi everyone

I wanted to be informed about when the Speech Recognition extension will be released on scratch 3.0.

I had read that they would implement it.

Does anyone know something?

I don't think that Scratch will launch another fancy extension without a lot of the basic bugs being fixed first

Anybody knows how to copy extensions from one program to another? On Codecraft, they have Cognitive Services extensions, want to use it here on Scratch. Or vice versa - how to get WeDo extention on Codecraft. It would be nice to control WeDo motors here!!

It could be amazing to see a extension on scratch like that, but it’s still being discovered by the scratch team, we could see face sensing in scratch in 4.0 or see it added to scratch 3.0.

We have a TTS and Speech Recognition module on CodeSkool. Here is a demo video: https://youtu.be/DY14ZEq0dt4
The TTS is different, as its not using Amazon TTS, but Chrome Browser Google TTS, so the limit on the words is much more.
It may have tons of bugs, but I don't mind that, because I feel its still very useful.
