Well, it WAS illegal to make money off of Mojang's game. Mojang just added an exception to that rule for servers. Now it's legal for them to make money in SOME ways, compared to NONE.

Hardware-wise, it was originally home hosted for the first two months back in 2012, and since then it's been hosted with the server hosting company Beastnode - that what you mean?

It'll be up again in around 10 minutes, just some unforseen maintenance that needed doing.

Massive bump! Anyways, I love this server, and just wanted to say it's still alive and well, and it's still under same management, and all of the old people are still on. It's still just as great as always, thankfully!

So is 1.7.
And 1.6.
And 1.5…
And every minecraft version down to the alpha where they introduced redstone.
I'm somewhat sure of this, I did some 1.8 lag tests and played on a few 1.8 servers for a bit.

I nearly starved to death a couple times because I couldn't find a place to get food near spawn, and it took forever to find any animals.
