Btw, using easy mode is perfectly fine. It’s like using training wheels on a bike.
Expert mode is for when you know the scales by heart and know when it’s safe to break the “rules”.

well i guess im sorry about that…my god this is amazing this is different than people who first use beepbox,co they just randomly place notes on easy :)Hey don’t diss the noobs, nobody creates a song like Megalovania on their first try. I don’t want to undermine @BruvMomentum’s efforts, but it’s an arrangement of a popular song, not his own ideas.

Well yeah, covers are different. I’m just saying that the easy setting isn’t bad in general. Sometimes I turn it on to find intervals quickly when I’m unfamiliar with a scale.Btw, using easy mode is perfectly fine. Megalovania, but every bar it gets louder? There are only 8 volume notches for individual instruments.

The notes in each channel have 3 of their own volume levels. So you could do an instrument at the lowest volume with quiet notes, then louder notes, then louder. Then use another instrument on the next volume level, and make the notes quieter, then louder, and louder again.Megalovania, but every bar it gets louder? There are only 8 volume notches for individual instruments.
… am I making any sense? xD

I mean, yeah, you could theoretically add more and more channels playing the exact same tune with the exact same instrument, but it'd be tedious at that point.

Update of Remake of Flower Garden from Yoshi's Island
it's basically just the same thing but the chords for the orange channel is set to “harmony” instead of “strum”, some of the notes on some patterns have been changed to more accurately reflect the original, and the bass sound has changed… again
i think the bass used in the song is actually an electric bass, but since there seems to be no option for electric bass in the presets, i had to make my own.
Ok so I guess it's a slap bass I thought it wasnt because the sounds from the original were more compressed

None of you guys remember the good old days when you could only have 4 channels. Of course, I much prefer the way beepbox is now, especially with the addition of 3.0. However, I've also noticed that a lot of people here are taking advantage of the MIDI import feature and claiming things as their own that aren't. For those of you that want to prove that you really put the work into a cover, there's a nifty little site called Beepbox Competition. Beepbox Competition is essentially the same as Beepbox, but importing from files is disallowed.
I've been recently working with less channels to create deceivingly simple songs. Here are a few of the ones i'm working on:
Song 1
Song 2
Song 3

does anyone know what each pitch is supposed to represent for the “standard drumset” preset?I believe that in ascending order from the bottom, it goes: Bass drum, low tom, mid tom, high tom, snare, clap, ride cymbal, crash cymbal, open hi-hat, closed hi-hat/stick hit, maraca or shaker/brushes(?), and some small cymbal that i can't identify
