In Super Mario Maker 1 if you played every 10 Mario Challenge level, you would unlock the four E3 competition levels. If you beat them all you would be able to shake the Super Mushroom to get the Weird Mushroom in the Super Mario Bros. style!

Weird Mario is still in the game as an easter egg, when you knock on a door over and over. He even has new sprites for the 3D World style. Still can't play as him, though.

Yeah, I’ve tried it. It’s fun. Different Weird Mario’s can appear if you knock several times.

Conveyor physics in this game are weird. When you jump off a conveyor, it keeps the conveyor effect until you land again, but even if you hit a wall the effect stays. So if you run against a conveyor and jump into a wall, the game attempts to set your x velocity to 0, but because of the conveyor effect, it actually bounces off the wall. And if you run in the same direction as the conveyor, it will make you go faster when you get up onto the wall. I think this is a bug.

Interesting, That might give me a reason to start up SMM2 and try to create a stage using those physics.
