Hello, I have been using Scratch 3.0 since the release, but I just recently re-installed (incase of any updates)

The first thing I did, was save a project onto my desktop.
the file name was “My Project.sb3' so Scratch 3.0 should be able to load it, right??
WRONG! instead, it simply creates a new file when I double tap the ”My Project.sb3" making it impossible to load files from my file browser!

the only workaround I have found, is to open Scratch 3.0, and then go to File>Load and open the project through Scratch.

I have already tried re-installing 4 times, so I'm wondering if I'm even getting the offline editor from the right place ( https://scratch.mit.edu/download/ )

If any of the Developers see this, please fix, because this was not a problem in Scratch 2.0!

Yeah, I've had to do that too. I don't think it's a glitch, but it's definitely an inconvenience. I think you'll just have to keep doing the file, load process

I also was unable to load it even when i used load option or double click the file even in 3.6.0 or 3.0

That's not how this works.

What they are saying is that you cannot just simply click the file like you would a program. You have to inconveniently open the editor and load it from there.
