600 second Wait!?!?!?

I recently posted something. Then waited the wait time to post another thing and I saw the wait time was 600 Seconds!

600 second Wait!?!?!?

It should only be 60 seconds. I haven't seen it read 600 anywhere.

It's supposed to be 60? It was always 30 seconds for me. o.o

600 second Wait!?!?!?

It should be 120 (180?) for New Scratchers, and 60 for active Scratchers.
i have grown as a person. and ive grown, literally. none of my posts from before 2022 represent me accurately.

Yes….. the spam-bot activity intensified awhile ago and there were up to a half page full of spam topics made by spam-bots. So now… it has been changed to 600 seconds to stop the spam-bots from making too many spam-topics before the Scratch Team gets to the topic and blocks the spam-bot.
College student studying Communication and Fire Technology, communication lab tutor, guitar and piano player, perfectionist, and just some guy who regularly eats and trains physically to stay healthy.

Actullay Scratchers have to wait 60 seconds and new scratchers wait 120 (changed to) seconds in scratch 2.0

That was to help control a temporary problem with some prolific spammers. Things are back to normal now
