May you please say why?

Advice:
Saying “Support” or “No Support” doesn't contribute anything to the conversation.
A question that has already been answered doesn't need to be answered twice with the same answer - bring something new to the table.

Strong support! This seems like the perfect way to bring these pages into the 3.0 era. These designs make everything look much more modern and simplified, and I love the color distinction between the website and the discussion forum, although some of the designs could use a few tweaks (which is to be expected considering this is just a mock-up).

Right. I just hope the new design gets added soon.

My signature was completely outdated and a new one is under construction.

Bump support, it looks better in my opinion and it fits in with the rest of the website.

Gonna reiterate my reply because I think I may have stated my opinion in an earlier page and I don't really feel like looking for it.

No support. IMO, it's too bright, too simplified, and too magnified:

  • Bright because the green and white actually kind of hurts
  • Oversimplified because all of a sudden the “my stuff” page doesn't have that submenu filter, which I really like and don't want removed
  • Magnified because it looks like everything is 1.5 times the scale it currently is, and that is uncomfortably big.

If anything, they should port the current Scratch 3.0 design to the rest of the site. I mean, how much of the code will have to be changed to implement this?

Infrequently active.

It feels weird to see how far we've come. I hope you're well, wherever you are!

No support. I do like the simple colors, but the formatting is way too childish.. like ScratchJr.

I support this…but I wouldn't be surprised if the forums get replaced entirely with just a recommended section and an announcement page..
As someone who spends a huge majority of his Scratch life on the forums, I can tell that the ST is trying to fizzle them out.
They removed the discuss tab on the top bar last year and added bringing it back to the list of rejected suggestions, leaving many of us to find (or in some cases, create) extensions that were put on this site, and once they were banned, the Chrome Web Store.
Then, they started recommending those of us who made topics that didn't quite fit to just make studios, as if they wanted us to be prepared for the incoming Thanos snap to our sub-community. The problem is that rather than having quote chains, studios have account links. So if, say, A1 and RedHot started rambling about something and them BWW joined in, replying to the first comment rather than the latest, it'd be a bit confusing seeing as how BWW's comment is just below A1's latest comment rather than his/her first.
And it's not like they don't have anything to seemingly gain from cutting this off. The outlook of the site for little kids would be much brighter with the less restricted side of the site removed, Those of us who are a little too active on the forums will start making more projects. And not many more userscripts will be made.
However, of course, there are many downsides to doing this that the Scratch Team may or may not have thought of.
Many of us who are active on the forums are teenagers who have grown out of Scratch but respect the idea of a profanity filter. This really comes to light when you notice the subforum with the most posts.

Things I'm Reading and Playing has 412,623 posts.
To put that in perspective, I joined Scratch in April of 2014. In that month, 219,752 projects were shared. Yes, I'm comparing seven years' worth of forum posts to one month's worth of projects, but you have to go out of your way to find the forums and creating and sharing projects is the entire purpose of Scratch.
Those of us who made those forum posts are mostly memelords who, like I said, are bored teens who don't like curse words. Removal of these forums would likely cause some of us to quit entirely.

Of course, however, the target demographic comes first and as much as I want the forums to stick around if they want to remove then, they can remove them. There's nothing stopping me from leaving, of course.

Well, seven years and one month is a very big difference.
7 × 12 = 84
412623 ÷ 84 = 4912* < 219752
*(rounded to 1)

The message above may contain wrong information, rude remarks, or something embarrassing to my current self. In this case, please ignore it and remember that I likely wrote it back when I didn't know what “respect” truly meant. I really hate thinking about it again.

I really like this idea. I'm really annoyed that the Forum navigation bar looks different from the one on the homepage.

Check out my projects and studios, follow me if you want. Of course, before you do any of that, you will require your viewing and following permit. That's a joke… or maybe not, since I haven't gained my joking permit just yet.

Also, I am hosting a Q&A for 1K followers! Copy this link and ask questions while you still can: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/393580487/

No support. This look gives Scratch a more childish feel. Each update has Scratch looking more childish then the last, how long would it take before Scratch looks like Scratch Jr. if we're going down the path this update will take us. Also, it is too big and will be harder to navigate. This would be a great idea if Scratch was intended for people a bit younger, but the 8-12 year-olds Scratch was intended for will not really enjoy using a platform designed like this to learn to do something as complex as coding. Quite a lot of people left because Scratch 3.0 was too childish for them, this would make so many more people leave. This would hurt Scratch more then it would “fix” Scratch. Bottom line, I'd say, Scratch should be left as is for a while before we take some huge steps like this in updates.
