Poetry from You and Me!
A poem by me called Monsters
NO where to run,
NO where to hide,
NO way to conceal,
The pain inside.
Can't move on,
Can't be free,
No way to heal,
The pain in me.
These are the monsters that aren't easily found,
But they attack you when no ones around.
NO where to run,
NO where to hide,
NO way to conceal,
The pain inside.
Can't move on,
Can't be free,
No way to heal,
The pain in me.
These are the monsters that aren't easily found,
But they attack you when no ones around.

Poetry from You and Me!
Wrote this a little while ago….
Through laughs and joy
Through war and strife
A trail of footprints
A path of life
Through flowers and leaves
Through grass and snow
As the seasons change
The footprints grow
Through school and fun
Through work and play
One footprint for each
And every day
Through twists and veers
Through turn-arounds
These prints are stomped
Into the ground
Through many countries
Through towns and states
Meeting others
And becoming great
Beside other feet
That lead the way
They learn to live
And love and stray
And when they end
(For they must die)
They join the angels
In the sky
Some are revered
Some never known
Some were loved
And some were alone
Through laughs and joy
Through war and strife
A trail of footprints
A path of life.
Through laughs and joy
Through war and strife
A trail of footprints
A path of life
Through flowers and leaves
Through grass and snow
As the seasons change
The footprints grow
Through school and fun
Through work and play
One footprint for each
And every day
Through twists and veers
Through turn-arounds
These prints are stomped

And love and stray
And when they end
(For they must die)
They join the angels
In the sky

And some were alone
Through laughs and joy
Through war and strife
A trail of footprints
A path of life.

I made a haiku
I think it is very good
So, what do you think?

Yes I finally found this! I write so much poetry (at school we have poetry every day)
I normally write haikus
The sound of water
Is very calm and soothing
It makes me happy

Poetry from You and Me!
The source of pleasantry
I wish it was easy
to pinpoint the moment
where happiness is found
finding the exact cause
the exact place the mood
stems from within me but
happiness is no math
it is no problem to
solve and sort through like files.
The coming and going, the sudden spring- happiness flowing- an immeasurable joy that cannot be chased or justified.
To source the pleasantry would remove pleasantry from the source, like sauce wiped from a bun- enough left to now but not enough to fully feel.
To give pleasantry a source would give no happiness to yield.
Feedback is welcome.

Poetry from You and Me!
I wrote this poem to honor my cat who died:
You were the sun that brightened my day
You were perfect in every way
Seeing you made me smile
It made my life feel worthwhile
But oh, my dear, now you’re gone
My life, my love, it was all gone
But I think about you all the time
But it truly is hard to rhyme
When you have an ache in your heart, ever so strong
When your love is forever gone
Sometimes I can hear your voice
An ever so tiny noise
In the back of my head
As I sleep in my bed
But when I realize it is just my mind
I question if I’m feeling fine
But this is the impact you put on my heart
My life, my love, you were ever so smart
Even if you are dead and gone, don’t ever think I’ll forget you
I’ve never heard such a lie, I have a debt to pay for you
You saved my life from that car
So I’ll love you from afar
Goodbye, my dear, one last time
This is my final goodbye
You were the sun that brightened my day
You were perfect in every way
Seeing you made me smile
It made my life feel worthwhile
But oh, my dear, now you’re gone
My life, my love, it was all gone
But I think about you all the time
But it truly is hard to rhyme
When you have an ache in your heart, ever so strong
When your love is forever gone

So I’ll love you from afar
Goodbye, my dear, one last time
This is my final goodbye

Poetry from You and Me!
Sonnets are full of love, and this my tome
Has many sonnets: so here now shall be
One sonnet more, a love sonnet, from me
To her whose heart is my heart’s quiet home,
To my first Love, my Mother, on whose knee
I learnt love-lore that is not troublesome;
Whose service is my special dignity,
And she my loadstar while I go and come.
And so because you love me, and because
I love you, Mother, I have woven a wreath
Of rhymes wherewith to crown your honoured name:
In you not fourscore years can dim the flame
Of love, whose blessed glow transcends the laws
Of time and change and mortal life and death.

+=+Adumar Skies+=+
In Adumar skies,
Where the hollow vessel cries,
Once stood a titan,
Who fought whilst the risk would only heighten.
His name was Invidious,
To the Hand, the captain was perfidious,
It's might immense,
Yet it's doom none could sense.
In Adumar skies,
Where the hollow vessel cries,
Once stood a hero,
Yet now, there is zero.
His name was feared,
For all who fought him disappeared,
Mithrawnuruodo it was,
He wore a cape of nas.
In Adumar skies,
Where the hollow vessel cries,
Once stood a titan,
Whose fate sadly could not brighten.

Haiku are my Jam Here's some
Here's one last one; I long for you now/But dreams may be broken soon/My heart is waiting
Waking in the night/Calm and muted it may be/Night terrors follow—
I may stay Fatigued/Drift off to deep slumber now/Stay Vigilant—
Lest you don't return/I may fail the task at hand/Let the result be.
Here's one last one; I long for you now/But dreams may be broken soon/My heart is waiting

Poetry from You and Me!
Here's my poem
Listen to the rushes whisper
Quietly along the river
Leaves of oak trees gently shiver
Softly softly in the wind
Softly softly in the wind
A happy feeling warm and tingling
I hear the bells of silence ringing
Listen to the forest singing
Softly softly cries the wind
Softly softly cries the wind
I’ll leave the noisy streets behind me
Far away no-one will find me
A quiet song is deep inside me
Softly softly like the wind
Softly softly like the wind

Listen to the rushes whisper
Quietly along the river
Leaves of oak trees gently shiver
Softly softly in the wind
Softly softly in the wind
A happy feeling warm and tingling
I hear the bells of silence ringing
Listen to the forest singing
Softly softly cries the wind
Softly softly cries the wind
I’ll leave the noisy streets behind me
Far away no-one will find me

Softly softly like the wind
Softly softly like the wind

How I hate you, hands
You are so hard to draw
I’d rather have paws

Poetry from You and Me!
I was sitting on a tree
I fell of a branch
I injured my leg
As a reward of
breaking my leg
I got a cast
that looked like TP
While on the tree
I saw a cat
She coulda help me
But how am I to know
I am just three

Sun At Night. A Poem
When I wake up,
I see the stars.
When I fall asleep,
I see the sun.
I try to reverse it,
With all my might.
But no matter how hard I try,
I see the sun at night.
When I wake up,
I see the stars.
When I fall asleep,
I see the sun.
I try to reverse it,
With all my might.
But no matter how hard I try,
I see the sun at night.

Poetry from You and Me!
Maybe another day
Maybe another time
Maybe then I'll say
Who I am inside.
Like the moon,
I have a dark side,
Showing nobody
What I hide.
Perhaps I have a castle,
Overgrown and old,
Who's scraggly knights
In suits of rusty armor
Can barely even hold.
Or perhaps I have a cottage,
With gentle blue smoke drifting,
Hidden in a place
Where no time or age may touch it.
But either way,
I do know,
Of your longing and your hope.
That maybe another day
Maybe another time
Maybe then I'll say
Who I am inside.
Good? I just came up with it.
Maybe another time
Maybe then I'll say
Who I am inside.
Like the moon,
I have a dark side,
Showing nobody
What I hide.
Perhaps I have a castle,
Overgrown and old,
Who's scraggly knights
In suits of rusty armor
Can barely even hold.
Or perhaps I have a cottage,

Poetry from You and Me!
We're gonna find it
We're gonna find our field and run away
And we can finally be happy
And nobody can hate us ever again
No more hurting, see
For no one will ever find us
When we're
hidden.
There are horses on the Otherside
Because they're in these books
There are trees too
I think
Trees
Somewhere, but not here
Let's go find the valley…
