make variables appear behind speech bubbles
Wait, there is a feature like that in Scratch 2.0?
Support. It is annoying when you can't see the full text because of variables.

Well maybe the blocks were too short for the variables to cover them in 3.0.
In 2.0, variables covered blocks because it was just long enough.
SEMI support, I don't know if you are suggesting the blocks to be longer or something like it did in 2.0.
edit: semi support, made a bug.

Currently, variable and list monitors are separate elements from the canvas that the rest of the project, including the speech bubbles, are rendered on, so speech bubbles can't be rendered on top of the monitors.
They could either render the monitors on the canvas, which would remove the ability to select the text on a list, or make speech bubbles a separate element, which could be hard given their unique shape and might be laggy since they move around and change more than monitors.

- Sheep_maker This is a kumquat-free signature. :P
This is my signature. It appears below all my posts. Discuss it on my profile, not the forums. Here's how to make your own.
.postsignature { overflow: auto; } .scratchblocks { overflow-x: auto; overflow-y: hidden; }
