Hello! This is my first time creating a forum topic, so tell me if I’m doing it wrong.

I would like to suggest a new button alongside report and delete. This button would have the purpose of suggesting a comment to be deleted.

A scratcher may find a comment that makes them uncomfortable, but was not necessarily offensive, and wouldn’t be ban worthy. That scratcher May report it, and hope for it to be deleted. However, others may also report it, causing the person who commented it to be banned. That person who commented it may have just been sharing their opinion to someone who asked, and now feels annoyed because they got banned.

This suggest for delete button, however, wouldn’t lead to a ban. When enough people suggest for it to be deleted, the comment goes away, and there are no bans or alerts. The scratcher who commented it is okay, and so is the scratcher who felt uncomfortable because of it.

Well, repeatedly reporting a comment won't result in the user getting banned if there was nothing wrong.

ohhh okay- it’s just some topics are controversial, and sometimes the people don’t seem to deserve to get banned (ex. someone got banned for saying something that had the topic “I think both Christians and LGBTQ people should be treated fairly” but the filter didn’t realize the tone)

Weak Support. If somebody genuinely was upset by a comment, it could get the comment deleted for them. (I know how this feels since that has happened to me before.) However, if a popular Scratcher made a post that not very many people like, they could spam it to get the comment deleted. Also, some people feel different about comments than other people. So two or more Scratchers may disagree on whether a post is uncomfortable for them. Finally, if you're a studio owner, or if the comment is on your profile, you can delete the message yourself.

tl;dr Some people may feel differently about the same comment, and it could be spammed, but it could have uses.
