We should be able to use the enter key in our comments.

I don't think it's absolutely necessary to be able to indent in comments since that might cause more spam comments to arise.

Advice:
Saying “Support” or “No Support” doesn't contribute anything to the conversation.
A question that has already been answered doesn't need to be answered twice with the same answer - bring something new to the table.

I think the reason why you can't have newlines in comments is because of the potential for spam, but I'm sure that the ST could implement a “read more” system that cuts off the comment after a few lines (similar to the "show more replies) feature. If that feature can be put in, then I definitely support this, but if someone could make a comment of 500 newlines and have it all be shown by default, no support.
And all the world over, each nation's the same,

The enter key

Just add a maximum of 8 lines and if 2 new lines are used in a row it combines to 1.
That way the worst comment you could make is this one:
