Please bring back the eggplant emoji. I never got to use it.

I remember I once saw a suggestion asking to remove it, and it appears it was accepted.

It was used to represent… something I definitely shouldn't say on scratch

they didn't have to remove it, they could of kept it in, but if you saw it being used inappropriately, you can report it

It was removed because the chances of using it inappropriately were to great. And anyway, it really wasn't that interesting of a emoji, why would you randomly use it in a normal context, unless in an inappropriate way?
If you want to use a vegetable, use _broccoli_ instead.

There are some things where if it's done enough times, it's enough. The Scratch Team likely saw an excessive use of the emoji and decided it would be better (on top of being much easier to maintain the site) for them if they simply removed the emoji all together. This way they can focus on more important matters such as fixing the site so everyone stops logging out randomly.

Sorry, no. The eggplant emoji is frequently used for inappropriate comments outside of Scratch. We'd rather not have that conversation come to the Scratch website.
