Hexxagon is a two player game. You can play against a local opponent, a cloud opponent, or play by yourself against an AI of three difficulty levels (“easy”, “medium” or “hard”).



The purpose of the game is to fill the board with more of your colour balls than your opponent. Each person takes it in turn to select one of their balls to move.

There are two kinds of move available - A “roll”, which creates a copy of the ball on an adjacent tile, or a “jump”, which moves the ball to a tile that is two spaces away.

Whenever your ball lands next to any of your opponents balls, they are changed to your colour and add to your score.

When it's your turn, to select a ball to move, click or tap on it, which will then display the available moves. Simply click or tap on the tile you want to move your ball to, or click another ball to select that instead.

The current score is displayed on the bottom left. The game ends when all the tiles are occupied, or a player runs out of balls. If you still have balls in play, but you cannot make a move, then control passes to the other player. (but it basically means you've lost!)



If the starry background causes lag it can be switched off by clicking the “star” icon on the bottom right.

I'm not sure this is the place for suggestions, but I have two:
1 Self-Destruct
Self Destruct will destroy the selected ball and all balls surrounding it. Do this by clicking the ball while it is selected.
2 Level Editor
Create a level with custom placed balls and play it.

I did think about doing different board designs…. Would be easy enough to do. Maybe for a version 2…
