US Video Game Controversy
Apparently the USA is in a bit of an issue.
A recent shooting happened and all the politicians think that video games are the problem.
They even made Walmart get rid of all of its video games. (Yet for some reason the guns themselves are still on sale.)
I'm Australian, so I'm not affected by this, but I made this topic so that anyone affected by this can talk about it.

Everyone in the world needs to watch The Amazing World of Gumball S4 E34: The Blame
Edit: Oh, apparently they’re just taking down displays for “violent” games (probably including Call of Duty and other shooty games)

They always try to blame the guns they use and the media they consume. Just blame the people who are truly at fault: liberals.
The reason we have so many shootings is because kids these days are growing up with no punishment for their actions and most non-residential buildings ban bringing guns in. Criminals don't pay attention to the law! That's the definition of crime: disobedience of the law! Banning guns just means that shooters have an easier time blowing the place up because it's illegal defend the place from the inside!
Wait a minute that was politics.

People still haven't learned after about 2 decades of controversy.
Just because I like shooting people in video games DOESN'T mean I like shooting people in real life.
Just because I like smashing machines in Sonic the Hedgehog DOESN'T mean I like smashing machines (and paying the repair bills) in real life.

“Blame Canada” from South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut is a good song making fun of how parents don't care about the real reasons behind their children's misdoings and instead scapegoat. They always try to blame the guns they use and the media they consume. Just blame the people who are truly at fault: liberals.

Yes. I totlly agree. I used to think they did, but now that I let out all of my anti-Fortnite anger, I understand better. People still haven't learned after about 2 decades of controversy.
Just because I like shooting people in video games DOESN'T mean I like shooting people in real life..
- Just because I like playing (and making) the Revolution series, it doesn't mean that I'm gonna go round smashing people!
- Just because I played Zelda didn't mean I was gonna run round with a sword and fight my enemies!
I mean, Just Dance made me a better dancer (and made me love dance!). But that's a different kettle of fish.

Overly lenient parents (liberal or conservative, doesn’t matter) They always try to blame the guns they use and the media they consume. Just blame the people who are truly at fault:

AND nobody has the guts to talk about mental problems or child abuse or bullying or any other past or present trauma that would cause someone to do these attrocious acts. Instead, just blame them video games and blame the guns. Don't do anything to solve the problem. Just play the blame game. They always try to blame the guns they use and the media they consume. Splatoon made me love cephalopods but I’m not going to go around with a paintball gun shooting strangers and shouting “Booyah!”
