It’s funny you say that, because made a ranking system just yesterday too! I was thinking maybe we could do a three way partnership where all of our member shops are ranked by both your shops ranking system and mine so that people get two ranks so that they can make an even better judgement of which shop they should go to.

Although, shop owners, please let us know whether you’d agree to this as it is important to the SPA that you want this before we just implement it.

I don't really agree, unless this is based on what customers thought of their orders. I don't see how you can rate a shop without ordering and if they just order to see how good a job the shop does then it's a waste of the shops time. But if it's just having information from the shops review section that's good!

Yeah, but even so it helps the shop practice and get rep and also can help customers out. Just being put on a scale is expanding a shops presence? I'm pro.

Wonderful that we've come to an agreement! For anyone on the fence let me explain the various metrics we use.

We review past orders and interview customers on their satisfaction and the quality of their orders. We interview the owner and workers to understand the internal workings of the shop. We then review the FP and any other relevant official posts. All of this is put through an algorithm that Co created on a scratch project. This is all used to create a percentage score that is split into 4 sections. Lower then 50% is a fail (this means they do not receive any certification or benefits, but can work to improve their shop and retake the test in one week's time. Lower than 75% is a bronze certification (Allows them to show their results and a bronze STS banner and seal on their FP). Lower than 90% is a silver certification (same as bronze but with silver banner and seal). 90%-100% is a Gold certification(Same but with Gold banner and seal).

Additional features:
-Any and all shops can retake the test once a week (except those who have 100%).
-Gold and Silver member's shop owners will be invited to speak at monthly summits to discuss ways to improve shops and the overall quality of the requests forum.) Bronze members will be able to sit in and speak in exceptional circumstances. Those that have failed and those that are yet to take the test are allowed to sit in but must not speak. The summit will take place in an allocated studio.
-Those that have taken the test will be put in a priority position for the queue for “The Shop Consultancy 3.0” Which I will set up at the end of August this will put them with a consultant who can guid them through every step of getting their shop off the ground; Banners for their FP, A logo, A format for their FP, advice, a daily bump service, and finally, a vast library of product remplatest, example art, custom blocks, bbcode and anything else that a shop may wish to sell(not really selling but we'll go with it). A management tutorial will also be available on request. This will be run by experienced shop owners and workers.

A few things in the pipeline:
-Obviously the shop consultancy 3.0
-Platinum certification which will be given only to the five best shops each month.

I think that it's a benefit of SPA, a perk, but not a punishment so if people would like to opt out like they did in the old review system they can but it's their loss.

That part is up to you. Keep in mind some shops might not be bothered to fill in the form, you will get more users if people automatically get it when they join the SPA. I don’t mind either way, for now we’ll ask people to fill in the form as that’s what you want but lmk if you want it to just be everyone. I look forward to this partnership too.

SPA is intended to be democratic.
