When we create an account, you will have to read some letters and numbers and type it into a box. They would be a little bit blurry. This is what they do on Youtube to stop most spamming as robots cannot usually read blurry letters.

Yes! I had that idea some time ago, but I forgot to suggest it. A scratcher told me that it's called CAPTCHA.

Support, because it will help to curb the spam.

Most of the spam is usually trolls, so they WOULD be able to get past the reCAPTCHA as easily as you and I. The New Scratcher status usually prevents both bots and people from spamming.

No, it doesn't. New Scratchers can still post, and spam text based stuff. I've seen everything from Chinese spam bots to other bots actually trying to advertise that they sell fake documents.

After digging a bit deeper, I found out that Google reCAPTCHA is broken in mainland China because google.com, which the CAPTCHA gets its pictorial challenges from, is blocked in mainland China.
