Well, Here we go again with a block suggestion.

This is something I would find handy with games like Breakout.

if touching [ v] then bounce

This is something I have been waiting for some time.
Its just something I would like Scratch to have.

Its just for purposes of a Breakout type game or something else.

No support. “Bounce” is a vague term. I get what you're after here, but a number of people may confuse the meaning of “bounce.” It's ambiguous, anyway, what exactly would it do? What if you wanted to change what it did, like the amount of degrees it turned?

One of the scratch team's own projects provides some good starter code for bouncing off the paddle. When touching paddle, rotate a random amount between 160-200 degrees. Likewise, you could fiddle with the code a bit and have that apply to blocks as well. Just remember the Help With Scripts forum is there when you need it

I was kind of expecting people to be saying that its a weird block, But it will just work like this block:

if on edge, bounce

But just the edge is a sprite.

Ah yeah, true, for some reason that didn't come to mind (despite being in the project.) My bad.

I'll change it to semi-support since as long as that's a block then i don't see a reason why this shouldn't be a thing. But generally i'm not a fan of “black box” commands. Since, like i said previously, it's not customizable. You don't know what it's doing, you're putting your faith in Scratch's hands. There isn't a configuration option, you can't adjust it, you don't really know what it's doing. Then again - Scratch is aimed at beginners and black box commands are generally accommodating.
