Your age is private.
Your last name and possibly middle name are also private. I'm not sure about the first name, though. I see some people using it just fine, but I wouldn't recommend it. There is a thing called the public records.
Your exact address is private, but you could say your country just fine. (“I live in Canada, but I won't tell you my province ”)
The names of anybody close to you is also private.
I'm not sure what else, though. Maybe I'm not thinking straight, but I'll know if it's private or not when I see it.
Infrequently active.
It feels weird to see how far we've come. I hope you're well, wherever you are!

what is considered private information and what is not?
It depends. Some people chose to share their birthday, age, and residence, but others do not. I would recommend not doing so because this is the internet, where anyone can see your information. Some things you should not do would be sharing your full name, your date of birth, etc. For instance, your name is Bob. Great. There are lots of people named Bob. You can share this info if you want (but you shouldn't). But if you give your full name, that can be bad. Same with your date. Some people say what date they were born, but never their year.
Sharing your age is fine on Scratch, but remember to keep personal information private.

what is considered private information and what is not?
Hi guys, peter griffin here from the hit tv show comedy, Family Guy!
Today, I'll explain when Information is private and when it is not.
You see, when regular users can't see the information, it means me and you can't see it, so it is private D:
When regular users like you and me can see it, it is public
Anyway, hope that helps D

My first name is in my username and I have mentioned it more than once, and never have I been warned or banned for this. For instance, your name is Bob. Great. There are lots of people named Bob. You can share this info if you want (but you shouldn't). But if you give your full name, that can be bad. Same with your date. Some people say what date they were born, but never their year.

That doesn't really help. We know what private information is, but the OP was asking what would count as private information.
I still don't recommend saying your age. Generally first name and country of residence (not exact address) is fine, but age can be dangerous, because you could be abused because you might be so young.

i think you can say your age if your parent says you can share your age
Ya know, sometimes, you just need to write those cringey fanfictions. Just do it. Write the overly fluffy, cheesy 2,000 word story where you fall in love with your fictional crush, move to North Carolina, and adopt seven children. Then bury it. Put it in a hole, cover it with dirt, and pray your family doesn't find it. UwU

what is considered private information and what is not?
Private information is information that people can use to figure out your identity - especially when combined with things you've said.
In the end, what you can share usually depends on what you've already shared. The more information you give, the more risky it is.
A good rule is to not release anything personal: your last name, your school, your date and year of birth, your city, and your address are all very dangerous.
Things like your favorite color and your favorite animal are safe. There are millions of people out there who like giraffes and the color blue, so no one is going to track you or steal your identity based on that.
Your first name and age are more tricky. These can be dangerous when someone has other information on you. As such, I recommend asking your parents if they're comfortable with you sharing it.

I think it is okay to share most information, just be careful about sharing your full name and your exact address.

I remembered asking @Za-Chary* about age a while back, and he said that you can share *either* your birthday or age. Not both. And, you shouldn't share your year if you share your birthday, either. If you share your birthday, you can share an age range, like “My birthday is June 15 and I am 10-14 years old.”

What if your city is particularly large? There are a fair amount of countries with a smaller population than my city. A good rule is to not release anything personal: your last name, your school, your date and year of birth, your city, and your address are all very dangerous.

Yeah it should be okay to share your city if it's big. For example Toronto has almost 3 million people so it can't really narrow down a person's location. And New York city has more than 8.5 million peopleWhat if your city is particularly large? There are a fair amount of countries with a smaller population than my city. Okay, I think this is a good summary:
Last names, cities (big cities posssibly okay?), school, and address (that one's pretty obvious) are not okay to share.
Age*, b-day*, and name are fine, but the less information the better.
No one's mentioned states yet.
