How to make a save file?

I'm making a game, for a school project, and I want to find a way to let people save their games, is this possible?

How to make a save file?

Saving games globally is unfeasible given the restrictions on cloud data, but it's possible to create a save code feature that encodes things like the level number, life count, etc. into a chain of characters - so the user can record the code somewhere and enter it into the project later to load their previous game back.

Could you share the project and give us the link. We would need more information to help you on this one.
