I was wondering how to add a picture from my file to a costume that already has stuff in it

One of the options for costume is to upload from your computer. This is how you use images from your files.

First, open up your sprite.
Then go to the Costumes window.
You should see a blue button at the bottom of the costumes list.
Hover on it and you should see a variety of options.
Then, you could search from the library, use the camera, upload a picture from your PC and other options.

If you want to add it into a costume you already have, after uploading the file, switch the editor to Vector, then select the picture (which at this point should select just like a rectangle) and hit Ctrl+C. Then, in the costume you need to add it to, hit Ctrl+V and maneuver it from there. The costume with only just the picture that you used to copy paste can be deleted at this point, as it serves no purpose (unless your project specifies it does).

You have to upload the costume, click on it, copy the image, paste it on the other costume, delete the costume created on step 1.
