I know this topic is dead, but I feel obligated to leave one last non-birthday-rant* post before I declare it truly dead.

*Supernova's birthday is next Tuesday so I may write some * about that

Well, after almost 3 years of writing Synchro, I “gave up.” I got tired of writing it. Book 3 just slowed to a stop; I tried to re-write it, even testing out a different genre, but I couldn't bring myself to continue.
But then I was like “HECK who said that it has to be a novel? Jet should be able to rub in Bugsy's face that he's my OTHER favorite video game character. Let's make an RPG.”

It's not going well. I'm a few weeks in and already stuck: on planning.

But the music may be alright. I'm currently focusing on writing the soundtrack rather than coming up with mechanics, plot, and deciding whether I'll actually make the game. I'm in the early stages, so I can't say for sure it's going well, but I was just working on Jet's theme and it's not as hopeless as it was just 24 hours ago! But sorry; I don't think I can share it here… for reasons I will not disclose (I'll just say partially for privacy).

(and the words echo through the empty hall, and outside crickets chirp even though it's not Cricket O'Clock)

I've revived Synchro, I think. I'm spewing ideas left and right, making some pretty big/radical changes, re-plotting the whole thing.

This topic, however, will remain mostly dead because a) no one but me ever posts here, b) I don't have much to say anyway, and c) it's cursed. Just look at how I talked in the early posts of this topic. That's how a cursed kid with a reason to have no friends talks.

So I guess I only post here when I want to say something about Synchro but I have nowhere else to say it.
I'm just talking to myself here!

hey! i'm sorry i haven't really gotten the chance to consistently talk here!! i always forget about this website…
i've been writing a little comic of my own and my talks with you a long time ago have definitely gotten me inspired to want to do this in the first place! i sincerely hope you continue your trilogy, you're so close!!! i swear you can make it! good luck with your game, too! i bet it'll be really funky, especially with the soundtrack you're working on!
