i have a game that relies on the reshape tool,but lately it hasn't been working. am I doing something wrong?

Here are some initial general attempts at being helpful (plus some questions):

As far as I know, the reshape tool only works in the vector editor itself–there's no way to access costume editing tools during the game, unless the player clicks “see inside” and opens up the editor. Is that how the game works? If so, I must say that's a pretty cool twist to the Scratch environment.

What part of the reshape tool is not working? Are you unable to add new vertices, or is it an issue of moving existing vertices? It can often be difficult to add new vertices on an object that is small or an object that started out small and was scaled up (there are similar issues with the paint bucket tool–hence it's a good idea to make your vector sprites big and scale them down later).

I'll keep checking back on this thread–hope you figure out what the problem is!
