Backpacking Sounds
Hi!
So, I wrote an original song and kind of want to share it to Scrach, only I don't want people stealing my music to use without credit somewhere else. Is there a way to disable backpacking/remixing/downloading sound files? Thanks!

Nope, you can't block people from backpacking things. Anything you share on Scratch can be remixed (as long as something is changed and credit is given). If you don't want people to steal your work, don't share it.

Anything shared on Scratch is under the Creative Commons license, which allows anybody to use your content as long as they give credit. I do understand your concern, though, as it is hard to nitpick the Internet for every instance in which somebody illegally used your song without credit.
There are other options to share your music, though, such as Soundcloud, that allows you to pick your own license between All Rights Reserved or Creative Commons.

Here, you can sit down in that chair over there. No no, that one. The other
one is reserved for my pet coelacanth.
I guess we wait now. Feel free to drink some orange juice
in the meantime.
