Bone tool

I searched in both the already-suggested and the rejected-suggestions using ctrl+f, and saw no “bone” tool.

Idk if this idea would be too complicated but Scratch should have a bone tool. Basically the bone tool would be a tool that, you click two things and it creates a “joint”, which you can then drag the individual parts to move the bone. You would ungroup the bone the same way you would ungroup groups. The more parts in the bone, the more flexible the bone is.

It would be good for robotic arms, tentacles, ropes, and some other stuff.

I think that's called a “path” in vector. I don't really see the use of it in vector since the line tool accomplishes the purpose of a path well, and in bitmap the reason why there are no paths or points is because bitmap is stored as an array of pixels while vector is drawn by mathematical functions and consists of seperate objects.

A “path” you say? Well, I've never heard of a “path” in vector.

This looks like a good idea, though I think the correct word is rig.

I think a way to make this better than it already is would be making one part move a bit in the direction, like this project of mine:

I am getting extremely tired of bumps. I still think this is a really good idea though! (I think you should rename it to “costume RIG feature” since that's the proper name.)

Would be pretty useful, since a major part of scratch is about animating, you need to animate even when making a game!
