The block "Set language to ..." in the new Text to Speech extension works with its dropdown list, but not with a variable set to one of these languages.
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 72.0.3626.109, No Flash version detected
In the new Text to Speech Extension is the block “Set language to …” which has a dropdown list of languages.
This works fine if you select a language from the dropdown list.
eg. Set language to Dutch.
Now let us create a variable, Language.
Set Language to Dutch.
You can drag this variable Language into the Set language block giving “Set language to Language”.
But then the block doesn't work!
Solution 1: Fix it so that it does work.
Solution 2: Don't allow variables to be dragged into this block.
