I mean, suggest pieces of music for the orchestra/ ensemble to play.

midding- v. intr. “feeling the tranquil pleasure of being near a gathering but not quite in it—hovering on the perimeter of a campfire, chatting outside a party while others dance inside, resting your head in the backseat of a car listening to your friends chatting up front—feeling blissfully invisible yet still fully included, safe in the knowledge that everyone is together and everyone is okay, with all the thrill of being there without the burden of having to be.”

Ok, thats a sort of difficult question. Normally, you wouldn't be allowed to join because this is, you know, a string orchestra. But since there are no other active orchestras on Scratch, I'll let you join. Fill out the form first, though.
I take that back… I have “” strep throat“ ” (I really think parents are over exaggerating)
Whiskers will be soon!

Ok. Soon we might have a world record. First string orchestra to have a flute.

Yay! Big problem discussing time! So, Scratch projects are stored on a server. That server does not support big projects. As in a project with more than five minutes of audio. As in, any piece we would play. I thought about just publishing it on Soundcloud, but that would be hard. Ideas, anyone?

YouTube is always an option, though you might want to disable the comments if you do use it .

Idk if this might help, but when I play duets with myself and post them on Scratch, I break them up into sections. For example, I’ll play the first 3 lines for violin 1’s part make that as one recording and then play the first 3 lines on violin 2’s part and make that as one recording. So, in the end, if my piece has 6 lines of music for both parts, there’ll be 4 recordings. That way, it’s easier to line up the parts and the files won’t be as big. However, I’ve never tried it with more than two instruments and it will probably be a lot of work… Anyway, that’s just my 2 cents

Other (anything else you'd like to say): I know how to play in the Baroque style as well as the modern style. Also, I know a really cool piece that's for 3 violins and a cello.
Hardest piece you've ever played: From the top of my head, probably the Concerto in C Major Opus 48 by Dmitri Kabalevsky
Accepted. Um, we are starting to get new people, but we just decided a piece for three violins, so, maybe there could be two first violins?
Ty! (Also, if I reply I'll usually reply sooner, I just didn't have access to the internet.)

We welcome all intermediate to advanced string players, and I am sure that at least a few members will be able to help provide tips and teach beginners. Our site is at this link.
Do we have to fill out the form there, or are our spots already secured?

As a viola, do I just play violin 3's part?
