I'm hoping to get a variety of music makers on my dev team to make the soundtrack sound like someone's mixtape rather than an album, but all of the songs I have personally made for the game are made with BeepBox. I'm not gonna share them until the rest of the soundtrack is ready, but I've made three songs as of right now. They're called You Need to Leave, Fight with a Squishy Foe and Abandoned Shores.i'm pretty proud of Binary Funk.
I reccomend using the FM setting if you don't want to sound straight outta NES.

I don't know what I'm doing
I want to make a song that isn't in 4/4 and or changes time signature within the song but I find that I'm better at recreating other songs than making my own

How does one Beepboxits a 8 bit music making program that you can make 8-bit or FM music there is a scale that changes the the sound for example easy : ) the scale that you are on when you open beepbox is sounds in a major scale while easy : ( is in the minor scale and there is waves that changes the interment
like the interments are square triangle pulse wide pulse narrow sawtooth double saw double pulse spiky and plateau

To create notes, click on the lines in the song area. To adjust settings, use the dropdowns and sliders. You can change the pattern of the song using the boxes at the bottom; there are 8 patterns (numbers) per channel (colored row). it doesnt workI'm hoping to get a variety of music makers on my dev team to make the soundtrack sound like someone's mixtape rather than an album, but all of the songs I have personally made for the game are made with BeepBox. I'm not gonna share them until the rest of the soundtrack is ready, but I've made three songs as of right now. They're called You Need to Leave, Fight with a Squishy Foe and Abandoned Shores.
I reccomend using the FM setting if you don't want to sound straight outta NES.
