I'm not exactly sure if this question was asked before, but since I can't find this question in the FAQs or in the pinned posts, I'll post it here. Also, I can't completely understand what “support” means in “the scratch 2.0 offline editor will continue to be supported”. Does it mean the 2.0 offline editor will receive future updates, or is it safe to use, or something else? It is quite confusing for me.
As the title suggests, is the 2.0 offline editor going to be updated? For people (including me) who uses a windows 7 computer and currently can't run the 3.0 desktop editor, it is quite important to get to know about the future.

I think when they say supported, they mean it'll be available. I think that if a bug is discovered it's updated, but it's not a huge priority
