My blocks are not showing up and did not transfer from 2.0 what do I do? The code still works and functions, I just cannot see the blocks. Somebody help

I am having the same problem as well with all my projects. The code works fine in the player but when you go to the editor the code doesnt work and you cant even see the code.

I have the same problem. When when I click on the sprite Player it continues showing the blocks of the sprite I was seeing before, I cannot edit the Player blocks but the blocks are executed normally! This is just happening with this sprite!! I started this project last year but yesterday (with scratch 3.0) I could still see Player's blocks.

Somebody help me please.

Ps.: When I select the costumes or sound section of the Player and then select the Code again, scratch says “Something went wrong” and tells me to reload the page but I have already done it several times and nothing has changed. So when I open the coed section of a sprite and then the code section of Player it shoes the previous code section. I have tried to put the Player before the other sprites so that Scratch opens it in the first place however now it says “Something went wrong” and I can't even open the project.

******FIXED******

I was able to remedy the missing blocks in my project. I used this page to get a .sb2 file of it:

I opened it with the offline Scratch 2.0 editor. I could see and edit the blocks. Based on a suggestion, I discovered that my project had two errors.

1. I had a broadcast name that included quotation marks
2. I had a list name that contained quotation marks

Only when I removed both issues did the project finally show its blocks in Scratch 3.0.

I noticed you have a broadcast name
Change all map clones to their "hidden' costume.

When I made a Scratch 2 (offline) project with that name and then loaded it into Scratch 3 I also noticed that the blocks did not appear. My guess is that it's the double-quote in a broadcast from a Scratch 2 project that's a problem.

So I've been spending hours on this one project (that is currently unshared) however at some point all of the code disappeared and the broadcast/messages were gone too. I thought it was a minor bug and I reloaded the page however, the blocks were still gone. I pressed the green flag, and the project ran just fine. The thing is, I can't add anything because I don't want to mess up anything (or start over for that matter). But it's been messed up for an hour now! If there is ANYTHING I can do to fix it, please tell me! Thanks!

Same as me. Since Scratch 3 don't support some text fonts in scratch 2, I decided to review all of my projects, but their code blocks are not showing up!

Everytime I try to edit my new project (Xanon rework) https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/268981089/ (not published yet) I cant see my scripts ( in all objects), but when I start it with the
green flag it works nearly normal (just some bugs with not doing scripts wich dissapear by klicking on the Sprite)
The bug started when you changed the scratch version to 3.0 and i realised it on 3rd of January 2019
My operating system is Windows 10 (64Bit) on a pc
i tried to edit my project with the latest versions of Google Chrome (Version 71.0.3578.98 (official build) (64-Bit)) and Mozilla Firefox (Firefox Quantum 64.0 (64-Bit))
and also tried it on different Computers and the latest adobe flash version (32.0.0.101 (64-Bit))

i also created a gif but dont know where to put it in…

I cant see my blocks although the game is running.

I have exactly the same problem

My blocks aren't visible to me in a project that I need to make edits to. When the green flag is clicked, however, it does work. The project has a lot of sprite, costumes, and coding. I don't know what is causing this. May I ask how to fix it?

We have the same problem
For the 2 project I'm making for school the code are not in view, sinds it is now 3.0. So I can not add new code because I can't see what to do.

Yesterday I was making a new a new project (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/278426249) on Google Chrome,
and in the middle of coding it, all of the blocks disappeared
Pls fix this.
