• You're not searching specifically enough. If your search term is too short, then other projects may appear. Refine your search.
  
• The project doesn't have enough tags. The project may not have enough tags, which can prevent it from showing up on the first page of results. They really help.
  
• Google hasn't indexed it yet. This is the #1 cause of search problems. If a project has just been shared, Google won't be able to find it. Wait at least a week, then try again. If after a week it still doesn't appear, then again give it some more time. Google is temperamental.
  
• You may need to clear your cache. No guarantee that this'll work.
  

Before how asking how to get your project shown on the search or complaining about how your project can't be found, please, pleaaasee read the reasons above, especially the third one about Google! Asking questions that have already been answered here, or that are answered on the big question sticky will not get you anywhere.
