A lot of message filters I understand, but not ones like ………………………..
text pictures.
No, not like the Lenny Face or the Emojis, the pictures typed by people that resemble a picture.
But Scratch filters them.
I once tried a Sans picture, but that's when I saw the filter thing pop up.
It was on my Q&A and I don't understand.
Any help guys?

Furthermore, you could use such text to spell out bad words or create inappropriate images.

Alright, but that's why there is a word limit. Someone saying “spamspamspam” is different. These are just pics. They are considered spam do don't even try.

Sure, I saw a butt and stuff, but it's annoying! Furthermore, you could use such text to spell out bad words or create inappropriate images.

It's true that there's a character limit. However, you'll often see in comment sections with unblocked ASCII art that the art in question is posted repeatedly, to the point where it becomes spam. Some people see the ASCII art and think something along the lines of, “Wow, that looks cool! I want to post that, too!”, and this can lead to it becoming spammy despite the char limit. Alright, but that's why there is a word limit. Someone saying “spamspamspam” is different. These are just pics.
You said it yourself - inappropriate stuff. A butt to you might not seem that bad, but keep in mind that Scratch is filled with younger children who might not see it the same way. Sure, I saw a butt and stuff, but it's annoying!

Also, I don't really see any reason why you'd absolutely need the ability to comment ASCII art - I'm whatever you want to convey through it can be communicated just as well through words.
