Deleted. Never mind, I think I’ve found it.

Hey so theres this song I loved as a kid, its of Swedish/European origin and it goes something like this in english:
Small small baby bird
Looking for its nest
Waiting for mama bird to come and take a rest
She flies up high up in the sky up
Looking for some food
So fly and fly
Up in the sky
Looking for some food
I don't know the song name and would love to know it! It's a nursery song that my grandmother would sing a few years ago. Thanks in advance!

Was the song originally in English? If it wasn’t, may I have the original lyrics?

It was in Swedish, I only have google translate as I don't know Swedish yet but here I go:
Liten liten baby fågel
Letar efter sitt bo
Väntar på mamma fågel att komma och vila
Hon flyger upp högt uppe i himlen
Letar efter lite mat
Så flyga och flyga
Upp i skyn
Letar efter lite mat
I loved this song and I'd assume it is an old nursery song since my grandmother sung it to my father as a kid.

I’ve found a few. Maybe you could ask for the real lyrics? I’m honestly not sure I can help you- if it’s old and Swedish, it’s probably not in any English databases. Could it have been about a crow or raven?

Sadly, it is 6 hours ahead for my grandmother but I could try and ask her tomorrow since she is asleep. It was bird though, at least I think so.

I don’t want the thread to be overrun with jokes of which this is the first. So if you’re genuinely looking for a specific game, give some more details please.

Back on topic?

Anyway, there was a show I used to love as a kid and I kinda forgot what it was called - it was about a group of animals, I think there was a kangaroo, a moose, a penguin, a hippo, and a creature of an unidentifiable species. Occasionally characters would be swapped out, but in each episode they'd imagine they were going on an adventure, and it would result in a lot of different things to happen (such as multiple different songs that I remember singing at random times). I also remember having a plush toy of the penguin (and I think I probably still do)..

Soo… not exactly an early childhood memory, but I met this group of cosplayers at an anime event and forgot to ask which characters they were dressed as. One of them was wearing a black and white dress with a skirt so flared that you could set snacks on it (10/10 description), and her hair was purple and tied into two low twintails. The other one had reddish-brown hair, white rabbit ears, a suit, and a sort of smallish box-looking thing strapped to her waist. Rabbit-girl also mentioned “forgetting her voodoo doll at home”, so the charater she was cosplaying might've been into some occult stuff. Any ideas who these two might've been dressed as?

Edit: I forgot about the third one who was wearing a drum-major type costume, also with purple twintail hair and a tiny hat.

I might be able to help you. A few questions.
Do you think they were anime? As in, did they look like they were dressed as anime characters?
Are you sure they were dressed as characters from the same thing?
Are you sure the girl with the tiny hat had twintails as well? Could she have just had regular purple hair?
What event was it? If you aren’t comfortable saying it, try to look at photos from tourists, one of them may have run into the group.
EDIT: It’s a very, very long shot (and missing the hat), but could the drum major character possibly be this?

I don’t have much to add here, but I’ll third both of yours. Thanks for helping out. That’s part of the goal here, to not just have me looking for stuff. Definitely the backyardigans though, what other show fits this exact description?

1. Most likely anime, but could've been game characters.
2. Pretty sure, possibly not.
3. I… am not sure!
4. Not comfortable saying, sorry. I looked for photos, but couldn't find any.
5. Nope, that's not the character.
Thanks for trying to help, and maybe these details'll help.

Edit: “Drum Major Girl” had an outfit that looked a little like this.
