If you want them to come back: To put it bluntly, there's nothing you can do. If you know the user in real life and they were banned, try convincing them to directly contact the Scratch Team and see if they can do anything about it.

Also, it's usually best not to publicly discuss things like bans and account deletions, because they tend to incite gossip.

We don't know the full story on what happened to this scratcher. They could've gotten banned, they could've just deleted their account or they could've just simply quit. @-ShadowOfTheFuture- has a good point, it can cause gossip. There's nothing you can do unfortunately to stop people from them deleting their accounts, etc. they just come and go. Its just like life. Many people die and many people are born each day.
In the future, it isn't a good idea to post other scratcher's names in forums unless its for a good reason (such as if they have a helpful project, etc.)

Right, and what happened with a user's account is private unless it becomes otherwise. If they deleted their account of their own accord, if they wanted to explain why they would have. And if they've been blocked, that's something that we the mod team can't discuss for privacy reasons.
