How to join a scratch team?

The Scratch Team is a full-time, paying job, so you need to be at least 18 years old. If you are, you could apply for a job opening here: https://scratch.mit.edu/jobs/ (you'd need to submit a resume and go through all the steps of applying for any other job).

I think that was not the question - He asked how to join a scratch team, not the Scratch Team.

Generally, when someone says “scratch team”, they're referring to the Scratch Team, but I get the point you're bringing up.

@OP: If you're asking how to join a collaboration (not the Scratch Team), where multiple users work together or collaborate to create projects, there are many ways you can do it. One place to start, as @Blue_Science stated, is the Collaboration forum. You can also try finding existing collabs on the website that suit your interests and asking to join. If you want to start a collab yourself, you could go around asking users who you think would be interested in it to join. (I've never done a collab before, so take what I say with a grain of salt)

Not that simple, I'm afraid. As the others mentioned, joining the Scratch Team is a serious thing. It's not just something you fill in an application form for, you need the right college/university degrees, you need to pass something like a background check, you need to be the right age and, perhaps most importantly, you need to live near Cambridge, Massachusetts since that's where the Scratch Team need to go everyday to go to work.

I'm going to make a guess that you haven't graduated school yet. If you really want to join the Scratch Team, start working towards it. Focus on your technology subject at school and make it a goal to go to a good university. Otherwise, I'm not sure there's a way you can join the Scratch Team.
