Help me make a horror game for this Halloween!
The combination of a FNAF game and Minecraft, I bring you The Cave System. I'm gonna go straight to the desc of the project.
You begin in a hollowed out, cornered cave sitting in a dark oak chair, with a table that has a phone and a necklace on it. There are two doors to the left and right. You can only interact with them by clicking on the door to walk over to that door, making noise. I'll explain the noise mechanic later. When you're at the doors, you can close them only by pressing W or the up arrow key, and the light with space. Behind you, there is a coal mine, which strangely rebuilds the coal ore. Mining the coal will store it in your hotbar, which is at the bottom of the screen, like the game. Press S to look behind you. Noise is a feature that is displayed to the right of the screen. Walking, mining coal, and putting coal into the furnace make noise. To the right, there is a furnace that will go out, half a minute for each coal put into the furnace. For example, 10 coal = 5 minutes. Running out of coal for 10 seconds disables the oxygen, leaving you open to monsters. Running out of coal for 15 seconds turns the door lights off. Running out of coal for 40 seconds turns all the power off. You can still mine coal behind you, but blindly with a black screen. I'll explain more once this gets attention.

This sounds interesting. I am a bit too busy to do art or coding at the moment, but i would be happy to be a manager.

Please keep in mind that all projects shared on Scratch should be appropriate for all ages. So it shouldn't be too scary.

I'm not very great at art, but this sounds like a project I could get invested in and help further coding. It might not be that helpful, and could be used for a harder mode or extra, but I sort of know how to make people need to be quiet in real life, just as they must be quiet in the game. I also know how to create an atmosphere that can keep people on edge, but we can make sure there aren't huge scares that aren't allowed on Scratch.

Alright, now that we have enough people on this thread, and in the studio, here's more info.
The entire door system is stolen from FNAF 4. Not exactly stolen. Anyways, if left open, a mysterious figure will jumpscare you. Failing to keep the monsters inside the doors, jumpscare. You know how FNAF 4's door system works. Behind you a monster puts coal down for you to mine, being the monster who mysteriously fills up the coal mine again.
Monsters. They're mean, some are big, some are small. Let's start off with the Zombie. Natural, cave wandering, enemy that attacks from the left and only the left. The Zombie. attacks you from the left and only the left. The Skeleton. attacks from the right, and shoots an arrow at you in the main room. The Enderman. The monster that refills your coal mine. If you spot him doing so, stare at him for too long, and jumpscare. To avoid it, look back twice. The Hero. Brine of heroes. He'll only jumpscare you once you run out of furnace light, and wait 20 seconds.
this is also a bump for a coder we need. join now!

to scare people you need a suspenseful build up to a jump scare and with Minecraft, you can't do that but you can't have little jumpscares or have them too often because then people become numb to it so it should start out and have a long drawn out suspense but then have a big jumpscare at the climax

and fnaf doesn't achieve that either because after a long time of trial and error you become numb to the jumpscares

If you're planning on putting jumpscares in, then I'm dropping the game. I'm not straying anywhere close to violating any Scratch Community Guidelines. Please keep in mind that all projects shared on Scratch should be appropriate for all ages. So it shouldn't be too scary.
