How fast do you type?

my avg is a little over 100 for computers and 80 for phone???? ive never broken 130 so theres a goal i guess haha

When I just want to type, it is around 30-40 wpm. Although usually when I'm in a rush, I write 50-60 wpm. The highest I ever did was like 90 wpm.

If you're using https://typing-speed-test.aoeu.eu/ , I would like to point out that the result from this page might not reflect your actual typing speed, as the words come in a random order, forcing you to look up and down between the screen and the keyboard to see what the next word is. I found that I can type much faster when I'm typing coherent sentences, which is what you do in http://play.typeracer.com/ , since full sentences are easier to remember than loose words. Just a tip.

TypeRacer: 110 wpm

yeah but youre assuming everybody looks down at the keyboard when they type haha

According to TypingTest.com, 83-90 wpm.

I'll often make mistakes if I type that fast, though.

So I have about an average of possibly 75-90 WPM with a 90% accuracy rate for when I'm typing fast. When I'm typing slow, I have a 80% accuracy rate for some reason.

I am happy with that. As I believe 60 WPM speed with 100% accuracy rate is far better than 100 WPM with 90% accuracy rate.

44 words per minute is not a bad speed. But I think if you use touch typing method your speed will increase further.

Lol i was on the phone when I did that. My average for texting is around 15-25 WPM. Soooooooo yeah. But it was fun!
