(this is a remake of a post i made because i realize i didnt make it properly sorry)
Sometimes typing doesnt work, or the keyboard doesnt at all.
I only experience this in editor mode, doesnt happen anywhere else.
I have to type in some other text input place outside of Scratch before it works again
Dont know when it started, just happened.
help me pls

Hi, if it happens sometimes only it could be because your PC was busy a bit running other tasks in the background(not project background )

Does this always happen? Try switching tabs the next time this happens to see if it fixes it. From my experience this happens every time I right click.

my dad DOES want to run a cpu controlled NBA game whenever the comp is on, and it plays in the background, muted while we do other stuff (he doesnt even watch it) but nothing seems to be altered by that and this bug still happens if its not on.

when this happens (figured its triggered when i mess around with sprites and code and stuff) i tried right clicking, did nothing. i tried switching tabs, and tried typing on a “turn _ degrees” block. it went empty but no input. tried changing a costume's name, it typed. then i could type in anything else.

anyway to fix this, or is this what everybody is getting?

My keyboard doesn't type in the scratch editor after I save my project, but now it is not even working before I do so when naming variables.

It is caused by right click in my case…..

I'm desperately trying to type for my new game but it isn't working!
