Same… I laughed so hard (well, in my head) at them singing carols. Literally. And that was nice character development for the griffon, I think his name was Gallus?

Also I think MLP is being removed from Netflix….

Callback Ending
There’s some final villain. Maybe it’s twilight gone evil or maybe it’s somehting different entirely. The mane 6, without their elements, somehow manage to reignite the spark that caused the elements to light up in the very first episode, probabaly complete with the same noise and same zoom in to the eyes.
Bookend
The celebration at the end of the last episode slowly fades into the style of the book from the first episode. Twilight’s voice changes to the narrator’s and it pans up. “And they all lived happily ever after.” Then the book closes to the same cover or to a cover with the mane 6 on it, implying that they got a book written about them and that’s what we’ve been seeing. Maybe a hoof closes it, maybe future twilight, reading it to herself surrounded by her friends (who may or may not be Alicorns) or maybe someone else does, like present twilight, who then approves the book for printing because it’s accurate.
Alicorn Ending
Celestia, having seen Twilight and her friends pass the final test, gives up her crown to all of them. Twilight becomes ruler of equestria while the others become princesses of loyalty, kindness, honesty, etc.
Season 4 Ending
There’s a final musical number and they gather around, where a picture is taken and sent to the princesses.
New Elements Ending
The young 6 or some other group of ponies collects the elements after something happens to them and Twilight realizes that the mane 6 can’t use them anymore, so she decides to pass on the responsibility to a new generation.
Princess Ending
See alicorn ending, but the others aren’t made into Alicorns, just rulers. Their elements are converted into crowns.

Those are all really interesting ideas. The New Elements and Princess Endings sound like they could work. But we never know, we just have to wait till season 9 to see how it really ends.

There are a lot of dubbed versions of songs around online but I think one of my favorites has to be the French True True Friend. They add an extra part in the background (well, it’s there in the original, but it’s very hard to hear) and all of the singers are good. The Polish version has the same thing but a bit less.

Am I the only one who's honestly exited for the ‘reboot’? I kind of fell out of keeping up with the new episodes around season 6 an mostly just popped in whenever there was something Chrysalis/Changeling related, so I think this might be the opportunity I need to get back into the series.

Something I noticed…

The episodes Magical Mystery Cute and Crusaders of the Lost Mark are very similar

They both are musicals, represent a huge change in the series - both something that we’ve somewhat been waiting for for awhile - (not as much with Magical Mystery Cure, but something similar was planned early on), both “transformations” featured characters floating up and glowing, and they both featured flashbacks from earlier on in the series. And, they both caused a lot of controversy (I’m not sure if there was as much controversy with the CMCs, but I know a lot of people were upset about their cutie marks at first, including me) among fans, arguing they were better before the episode came out.

In my opinion, Crusaders of the Losf Mark was better, as honestly the music was much more catchy and the plot was less rushed and more realistic. We also got some development for Diamond Tiara.

Edit: they also both featured characters being inspired by the characters who changed

Me too. It's like I don't watch it anymore because I don't watch it often and I don't really go on Netflix often. I'm a YouTube person (that's why I'm glad the MLPEG shorts are on YouTube legally.

I get what you mean but that probably won't happen girlsruless as they are making MLP generation 5 for the future and many people are saying that season 9 will be the last one left.
