My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 67.0.3396.99, Flash 30.0 (release 0)
Has repeatedly gave me this error:

The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author.

Some say it's because of the internet but my internet is fast and sweet, somebody install Scratch themselves.

Are you deleting the old installer when you re-download it?

I assume you're trying to download and install 2.0. Scratch 2.0 requires Adobe AIR to run. Did you download and install Adobe AIR first?
