When you say you don't want to “write a bunch of code” you're essentially saying you don't want to use Scratch.

Scratch isn't about making games; it's about scripting. You're learning how to program, so the result is actually your knowledge, not your project. Your project is just a side result.

If you want to make games without having to learn to program, there are websites such as sploder available.

Edit: But if you want this because you don't know how, you could look at previously made projects, or you could ask for help in the HwS forum.
