I've seen some people put videos into their scratch projects, I'm not sure how they do it, do they put the sound first and then the video as a GIF or something?

I've seen that on an ASDF project before, where they explained how they made it. I don't remember everything, but I think they downloaded an extension that allowed them to do that.

They upload a GIF into the project, as it will automatically save it into costumes/backdrops. Then they put sound, or sometimes, I think the sound goes with the GIF. Then they put a script, that can make the GIF play at certain FPS. Hope this helps.

Scratch doesn't have a dedicated video tool, so you'll either have to use third party software or export the video into images frame-by-frame.

It's possible but takes a long time.
First, download the video's sound but ONLY the sound.
Second, Go to ezgif.com and convert the video file to a .gif file. (Takes longer than the video)
3. Import the .gif into a scratch project. (Very Long time)
4. Get the correct frame rate
5. Play the just sound file.
6. Finally, you are done.
