Hi! welcome to Scratch!
To create a projet go to the editor (Click the ‘Create’ button in the topbar.)
If you want to have a tutorial there you can click ‘tips’ in the topbar there or go to the corner up right and click the small grey question mark in a circle.
then a tutorial will open. If you need any other help don't hesitate to ask or you can visit the the scratch wiki.

Welcome!
You wanted some tips? Here you are:
  1. If you need a tutorial go to the project editor and click ‘tips’ in the toolbar there or click the little grey question mark in a circle in the upper right corner. Then one will open.
  2. If you want you're sprite moving backwards or going one layer to the front you have to use negative numbers. E.g.:
    move (-10) steps
    go back (-10) layers
  3. If you need any help you can visit the scratch wiki or explain your issue in the Questions About Scratch or Help With Scripts forum. (Or if you have cerain questions you can also ask me. )
  4. If you want to advertise your projects don't spam but present them in the Show And Tell forum or add a link to them to your signature (The last link will only work for you)!
Hope this tips will help you! good luck with your project!

Hi!

We're new to Scratch, and having a little trouble with our first project, which is a tennis game. It is still a work in progress, but we can't stop the game once the time limit has finished. Instead of the stage switching at zero, our timer variable continues on to minus numbers and the game keeps going. Any ideas? We've tried scripting next background and blocks to select the background we want, but to no avail.

Thanks,
LacyGirls
Put in an if timer =0 then block, and inside, put in set timer to whatever your original time was. Also, stop everything. Tell me if it doesn't work, but it should.

when green flag clicked
set [ (timer)] to [60]
set [(timer) v] to (TIMER)
if <(timer) = [60]> then

reset timer
end

Welcome to the website!

Do you know a good project that doesn't have a lot of attention? Suggest a project to be put in this studio that is unpopular.

I haven't formally introduced myself.

I am Xelophelt!
I have been a member for a week and 4 days! (newborn scratcher)
I have only posted one project thus far, (Explosion The Racer)
I am working on other games, as well as planning on collaboration some day. (but not today, that is for June.) and I hope I become the best Scratcher I possibly can be!

Hey guys, I'm an old scratcher from 1.4! If you want to promote your projects and you're less than 1 year old (in scratch terms) then post the link to your project in the comments of my NEW studio, “welcome new scratchers!”

Hi I am a new scratcher and I just wanted to introduce myself! I started a couple days ago, about 3 1/2 to be exact. And I really like making simulators. You can see a couple of simulations that already I already made here at my studio. Other than making simulators I play lots of video games and I try to run daily.

And there you have a summary of my life.

when green flag clicked
think [Sit in chair.]
if (Sitting in chair) then

set [Sitting in chair] to [((Scratch) + (Video Games))]
broadcast [ Busy]
end

I think I am one of the first scratchers to register in 2.0. I would have registered earlier but the website was down because of the transition. I should get round to introducing myself.
I have been using Scratch for quite a while, however this is my first time having an account and I'm planning to upload lots of stuff I made in Scratch 1.4.
I don't really have anything else to say so I would also like to introduce myself to all the other new scratchers.
Bye!
