I want to make a Scratch extension so I can… (program my 200 foot tall My Little Pony robot / monitor my pet Nar-Nar’s temperature / whatever else you can imagine )

You can find more information about Scratch extensions on the wiki page. However, we're going to be really careful about which extensions we'll make available for everyone on Scratch to use. We'll be releasing more details about the development and submission process in the coming months.

I hope this whole “weather” thing comes soon. Apparently, whatever location your in, if it's raining, the game will tell you…or maybe it will just adapt and the creator can make it so the game rains at the same time…I don't know much about this, but I hear it's going to be awesome! If that ever comes out, I will love Scratch 10x more than I already do! (And I already LOVE Scrach) Anyway, keep Scratching, or whatever the whole “outro” thing is. Hope this comes soon!

I am administering an Apple Network and have found that recent Adobe/Scratch2 updates are interfering with Workgroup Manager controlled accounts. Pupils are fairly heavily controlled but we have been allowing apps to launch via WGM. This was fine until the recent updates, which have presented the pupils with “You do not have permission to run this application” errors when launching Scratch 2. Their permissions are all fine on the server, the client machines have all of the latest file versions installed, but the app will not launch any more for our pupil accounts. Are there any new dependencies, I need to allow in order to fix this? The server is running OSX 10.7 as are the client machines. Any suggestions gratefully received.

will this work for a lego mindstorms NXT 2,0 or EV3? if i doesn't could the scratch team make another extension for mindstorms?

No, it's not functional with mindstorms (yet)
