I made this animation for my animation class last year

I currently hold the record for longest animation in that class.

Blender (3D modeling software)

I have been spending lots of time practising blender recently.

Here are some of the images:

One of the first images I created, before I learnt how to texture: Playing around with the “add tree” addon.

I got some inspiration from a car ad and did this:

I am very happy with how this tunnel turned out:

Looks awesome

How do you get the round edges and such smooth though? I've tried and I can always see the faces when I light it.

Do I just need to increase the number of faces?

Select the object, and on the left side panel, (in tools) there are 2 buttons, “smooth” and “flat”. Click smooth.

It was a bit hard for me to start using Blender, as I didn't know what and why there were so many options. I eventually learned the basics on how to do it.

Anyway, I made this:

It is still WIP, but already looks great!

I use blender, but I don't know that much. I'm trying to get into it more. I'm going to use it for making Minecraft animations, and maybe some other stuff!

I posted those images when I just started, which is 4 years ago! It's interesting to see something of mine from so long ago.

Now, I am just making all sorts of things, like this:

Now compare with this with the previous posts from 2016.
