Hop - A Platformer

So, I've tried your game “Hop”, and I must say that it's great!

I enjoy the smooth, yet pleasant details and overall look of the game. It's very soothing, and as such is a very laid back game. I must also say that the levels progress at a good rate for a platformer in terms of difficulty, which is a rarity. It's certainly not an game focusing on intensity, and that's cool! But there are really four things you want to touch up on to make your game one of the best out there;

1. Add some Music!
I'll be honest, as soothing as the game is, I think that there should be some form of music as a way to complement the player. Try going for some calm, chill music. Anything will work, as long as there's music in-game. Sound effects could also be implanted, but it's really not as important as adding in music. Adding in sound effects should be important if you love small details

2. Perhaps you could change the purple blocks.
I am aware that this is YOUR game, and not mine, but I personally prefer if the purple blocks could be a little more “contrasting”. What I mean by that is that you should make any obstacle stand out, perhaps give it a bright color, so the player could easily tell where the obstacles are in a level! Whilst I do admire your fascination with secondary colors, try to make it a little brighter!

3. More control options!
Let me try to clarify this. You already implemented the basic controls (up, down, left, right). But I think you should +1 that by adding more options. Try to add in WASD, Spacebar, and even 2486 along with the usual arrow keys as a way to make the player more comfortable with playing the game. If you don't know how to do that, simply add in “or” blocks and the certain keys I mentioned for every action done. Again, kind of a small detail, but I think it's best if you could add that in.

4. Add your project to more studios!
Even if there could be a few more improvements to your game, “Hop” is already a great game. You should definitely add your project to WAY more studios. Now, if you see my comments a lot on other platformers, you may be aware that I keep mentioning this, but it's really because it's the perfect way to make your project more popular. Instead of putting your projects onto “Add anything!” studios, try to search for keywords such as “Platformer” or “Games”. If you don't know where to start, try this studio to get you started: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/5031938/ | Anyway, some Studios will not allow you to add any projects in. Don't give up! Simply ask in the comment section if your game can get added (just in case if you didn't know). I see a high opportunity with this game being successful, and as such, you should definitely add this game to more studios.

So with that in mind, I want to say that your game is great. As I mentioned above, it's soothing, calm, and just an overall enjoyable game. If you were to fix all the recommendations I listed above, your game will sky-rocket to popularity and perfection.

Just remember; don't give up, and keep working harder; you'll see yourself become better without even noticing.
