What platform do you mainly play games on (PC, PS4, Xbox, Switch, Mobile or other)? Why do you prefer that platform?
I've mainly grown up with PC games (I currently only have a laptop but am finding quite a lot of games that I can play on it). I also play some games on mobile because you can play them anywhere, but it's harder to find good games.
I'll probably get a PS4 after my exams, mainly to play exclusives and also because the prices of graphics cards for gaming PCs are really going up.
What platform do you usually play games on? (For example PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Mobile devices)
Why do you prefer that platform?

I grew up using PlayStation's so I have grown fond of them. Only drawback of the new PS4 is for most games, you have to buy the online PlayStation Plus ™ pass. I mainly spend my time on my laptop using/posting (on) Scratch. When I'm not here, I'm on my PS4 playing COD WWII, COD BO3, Fortnite, Rainbow6Siege, or any of the other games I have on it. I personally like PS4 but people seem to like Xbox a lot more, I got my PS4 for free so I'm not going to complain about it. It's a good platform, I recommend it. I preferred PlayStation a lot more then Xbox before they came out with the “you have to buy PS Plus for most games & for online” but I still love it.

I mainly play games on 3DS because it has a little bit of everything. All you have to do to change your game from an RPG to a rhythm game or a platformer is take out your cartridge and put in another.
Also, you can play every single DS game on 3DS, and even some games from NES, Game Boy, etc.

I just have a Wii U, and in the future it seems like I'll have nothing but games I can emulate using my laptop (can't run too much, N64 at best) in the future since my dad's not a big fan of how Nintendo treats it's fans, but it's a good console. Has some good indie games, some retro stuff, some new fun stuff ranging from platformers to open-world adventure games. I enjoy it.
If I had to have one it'd still probably be the Wii U but the PS4 has quite a few games I'd spend WAY too much time on, Fortnite, Rainbow Six, MLB the Show 18, God of War, you name it.

Wii U, OR My Dad's Ps2 (Which I Grew Up Using) But I Do Enjoy PC 'Cause Better Graphics, And Mouse And Keyboard Is Better Then A Controller.

Yea I like a controller better as well.
They're easier to control (puns) and they allow free movement.
Some might like PC better for many games though.
Because with many games, you want to be able to control spin/turn in games at your own speed and with a mouse that's easy,
but at the same time, with a mouse you have to pick it up and move it back to where it was when you push it too far.
I think controllers are better for many FPS games because they're (like i said) very easy to control because all the buttons are right next to your fingertips, you can continually push buttons to move, and the buttons are easily learned/memorized. I'm just saying that when I play a COD or Battlefield game, I'm going to want to use a controller for these various reasons.
I grew up using my Dad's Ps2 as well! It's amazing how different it is between systems. I have a Ps3 & Ps4 now and I have to say, they've improved (lol) Only drawback now is PS-Plus & (on Xbox) Xbox Live

Yea I like a controller better as well. For certain games where analog movement is actually important (like racing games) I can see why you might want a controller, but the mouse is far more precise than a stick for aiming in FPS games and there isn't really any need to move slower than the default speed so mouse and keyboard is better.

I Find Mouse Is Better For Me, It Allows Great Movement And Its Easier To Hold Steady In FPS Games Without Some Form Of Aim Assist. And Mouse And Keyboard Is Better Then A Controller.I respectfully disagree.
But I Still Play Star Wars Battlefront 2 (On Ps2) Without Aim Assist And I Can Do Pretty Well.

I'm not a huge fan of controllers for first person games in general, even when they're not shooters…

Mouse + keyboard is better for stuff like FPS, but I think controller is better for just about everything else (platformer, turn-based RPG, dungeon crawler, sandbox…)Why do you think controller is better? And Mouse And Keyboard Is Better Then A Controller.I respectfully disagree.

Keyboard is annoying in general honestly (call me a console skrub but whatever), there's so many buttons that are kind of awkwardly placed plus devs like to use stuff at the other side of the keyboard most of the time PLUS your one hand's already using the mouse so it's a messMouse + keyboard is better for stuff like FPS, but I think controller is better for just about everything else (platformer, turn-based RPG, dungeon crawler, sandbox…)Why do you think controller is better? And Mouse And Keyboard Is Better Then A Controller.I respectfully disagree.

That Is Fairly Annoying To Be Honest. Also I Like How I Accidentally Turned This Thread Into A Discussion About Controllers VS Mouse And Keyboard. (It Was Bound To Happen Sooner Or Later Though)devs like to use stuff at the other side of the keyboard most of the timeMouse + keyboard is better for stuff like FPS, but I think controller is better for just about everything else (platformer, turn-based RPG, dungeon crawler, sandbox…)Why do you think controller is better? And Mouse And Keyboard Is Better Then A Controller.I respectfully disagree.

I tend to use PC and Mobile gaming because it's just much more convenient- why should I go out of my way to buy an expensive device that can only play games when I can get most of the games I want on things I already own?

Yeah, keyboard configurations are generally designed with two-handed control in mind: one hand does the mouse, the other does the keyboard- with this set up in mind, it's more comfortable to use the keys on the side opposite to the mouse.Keyboard is annoying in general honestly (call me a console skrub but whatever), there's so many buttons that are kind of awkwardly placed plus devs like to use stuff at the other side of the keyboard most of the time PLUS your one hand's already using the mouse so it's a messThe reason why you're using keys at the other side is so your hands don't get squashed together on the right side
My only issue with these setups (and pc gaming in general) is that there's not a real “standard” for what keys should do what like there is with a controller, which often means you have to memorise a different set of hotkeys for every game

BUT on the keyboard you're using WASD and e, but then for some reason you've gotta press j
