Graphics { 3/10 }

Description :

• Artwork of sprites lack originality, and very contrasting styles.

• The main menu is quite dull and plain.

• Despite that, the intro is very simple and clean.

• No project thumbnail.

Coding and Mechanism { 8/10 }

Description :

• Very good coding for sensor sprites.

• The loader is very convenient.

• A very unique popup.

• Increasing difficulty—a good touch.

• An interesting point system, well programmed.

• Messy blocks, and some codes don't function properly, resulting in glitches.

• Movement of player sprite is too fast and sudden.

Controls and Concept { 7/10 }

Description :

• Controls are simple, but take a while to get used to.

• A simple game concept with a clear goal.

• Well-explained instructions.

Music and Audio { 9/10 }

Description :

• Lovely music for the intro and the gameplay!

• Though the music for the gameplay doesn't seem to match with the game's dynamics.

• Overall Score { 7/10 } ENJOYABLE ! •

Suggestions :

• Make it look more attractive : Draw or get your own sprites to suit the whole graphic theme.

• Make the buttons interactive : Have different costumes for hover and click.

• Make the loader more recognizable (make it look like a loader) or place a ‘Loading…’ text anywhere near the loader so players don't get confused.

• Make the player sprite movement slower and smoother. Also add extra walking cycle costumes to make the sprite more dynamic.

• Clean up the coding blocks inside the game for convenience of yourself or remixers.

• Have a thumbnail for your project. Make your own or have someone to make one for you. This will make your project look more attractive and give a good impression.

• Make the purple fish silent (stop giving instructions) after the player finishes the first ‘level’

• The music used for the gameplay is fine, but make sure to make the feel of the game more dynamic when playing. Otherwise, have a more calm soundtrack for the gameplay.

If I'm bored, these are the kinds of games I would definitely be looking for. Simple, relaxing and fun!

Why you want this job: I just wanna join a small shop, and this one happens to give out shop reviews. I'm having a service of my own, but hey, why not? I help out any shop!
