If I was leader I would start getting tilesets out using @pokepedia11 (with my simplification method) engines.
I understand that you don't want to copy art so just make your own but you need to speed up! because you have taken ages!
We have no obligation to speed up, and will move at whatever pace we feel is right. We have artists, coders, and musicians. If pokepedia comes here and says we can use their engine, we probably will. However, I cannot emphasize enough that we will move at whatever pace we can, and no faster.
But what have you done in this month?

I'm kinda concerned that you want to use existing franchise Pokemon, which is risky. We really only have to have 150 or so to be fine, and that's doable. We have, what, 40? Give ones with nonexistent lines evolutionary lines (maybe except for the legendaries) and add a few more, and we'll make do.
There are several reasons that I have in using both.

Exploring the cultural effects of old Pokémon in this new region is interesting. Furthermore, I've never liked the idea of a new Generation not using old Pokémon. Using previous Pokémon was always my intention with this game. And until I am shown a successful lawsuit against a fangame made on Scratch, I am not changing this decision.

Still, feel that it is very important to be as original as we can. We will create and use Fakémon, and nothing will change that.
Well, what if our game is set significantly after the canon games and the area has caused the old Pokemon to evolve (not change forms, but gradually change hereditary traits) into similar, but still different forms? Or the area is just so drastically different than other areas that native kinds of Pokemon force rapid change in any invasive species?

This is Pip. I am merely speaking through the DS2S account as it is what I use on this device. If you would like, I can have my real account confirm that this is me.
These are good and interesting ideas, Brax, and some of it could be added in the form of Regional variants (and we had plans for this to be set in the future anyway). However, what it ultimately comes down to is this: I don't want to change all existing Pokémon in this way. It would interfere with existing plans. If using existing Pokémon gets this project taken down, I'm okay with that. I'd certainly rather it not be removed, but it wouldn't be the end of the world. The members willing could just use whatever skills we gained working on this to go work on something else, something original.

Hmm. In that case, we can add other lores and things around them. For instance, maybe the avian ones can fly back and forth and thus don't change as much. Burrowing types can burrow into holes and use the earth do make a more neutral environment. We can make it logical and keep some the same but a lot different (gen 7 was a let down given the fact that it had some regional variants, but not enough…)

I have made this.

I ask that you listen to it. As the title, which is PKMN CFOF: OVERHEATED (WIP-1), suggests, it is a work in progress and not completed yet. It is meant to eventually end up being the theme that plays when Pip is fought in the Royal League after the Elite Four. I ask that you tell me whether you think, based on what there is so far, it work as a Pokémon Champion battle theme, a theme for Pip, a final boss theme, and just a song in general.

- Pip

Dang. That's 1/100th of our data limit almost. Given it's short and incomplete it'd probably take up at least 1/50th when complete. Are we sure we want to import MP3s and .wavs and stuff and not use the in-project Sound blocks for concern of space?

Edit: It's actually 1/113.636363636363636363636363636366363636363636363636363636363636363636363636363636363636363636363636363636363636363636363636363636363… of our limit.

I did not take this into account. However, we should (at this point) not consider file sizes. We will probably have to remove content to make space, but the soundtrack should (for now) be made as though these do not exist. When it is time to program the game, we may simplify the tracks so that they fit, but until then, this will not be a concern.

Also, Connectation, since you've made most of the existing soundtrack, I must ask you this. How would you feel about DS2S putting the PKMN CFOF soundtrack on something such as Youtube?
- Pip

Well, I'd recommend compiling sheet music of everything in case we need to transpose to script from actual mp3's.
