Are you sure you are playing the proper Minecraft (Java edition)? "We Buffed The Dragon To Kill You When In Peaceful Edition" doesn't have music, and the console versions only play the old music occasionally.

It would really settle the 1.9 controversy as the people who want it (Me ) can leave it on, but the people who hate it can turn it off , and have no penalty stopping them from earning achievements.

Y'all acting like I stay up to date? I'm not as into Minecraft as I was 6 years ago. Besides, I don't play PC. Also, don't put words in my mouth. I never said they "replaced" C418's music. I don't like the new soundtrack. Also, it's my opinion, you don't have to agree with me, but don't bash me for it.
